We are the champions!!!

Who would’ve thought we’d live to see Graham henry smile ?

We are so proud of our mighty All Blacks! It wasn’t easy but with a huge national sigh of relief we pulled through in the end.

Living in the city these past few weeks has been an amazing experience, with a large amount of visitors in town for the 2011 Rugby World Cup Tournament.

The organisation of the event was really fantastic and a terrific time was had by all.

S-K-A-T-E or Die

Guy Storrs (current resident model for James Yang Photography) decided to dust off his old deck and have his first skate in New Zealand. Didn’t take him long to get rid of the cobwebs and some nice tricks were being pulled off.

Skate photography is awesome fun, and I love getting in close to the action. I thank Guy that he didn’t let his board fly in my direction, something that was always in the back of my mind. I wasn’t worried about getting injured… as long as the gear didn’t get hurt!!

It wasn’t long before he was challenged to a game of S-K-A-T-E by a local skater. Basically this is a “dance-off” where you try not to spell out SKATE by making errors.

After an epic battle that lasted several minutes Guy lost marginally, but I’m sure he’ll be back with a vengance…
